Well to tell them a good piece of advice, just I need to Know wich place they`re interested on visiting. If they like to go to shores, I would recommend visit cancun, huatulco, or may be acapulco, because it's close to Mexico city, and then they can combine shore and city. If that would be the case, they need to contact a travel agency because of reservations, arrive on plane, taxi, accomodations, Acapulco has historical places, natural places and one of the most famous place it`s the quebrada, are there lots of nigthclubs near the beach and in this time of the season its cheaper, you can ask for Nancy Briseño 01 52 55 1054-1801, she works for a travel agency named Turismo Zòcalo, I had travel using their services, there are good,and no too expensive. Oviously when travel in a group all have to stay together,take care of bagage and only take authorized caps as a security measure. when they arrive to Mexico city they can go to Teotihuacan in a organized tour, or go to visit Anthropology museum, arts galeries located near Reforma Avenue.
It depend the kind of tourism they want to do. If they are looking for adventure and near the city, San Luis Potosi,Veracruz, Michoacan, , Chiapas, Hidalgo could be a good choise but if they want to Know about our history, maybe Zacatecas, Guanajuato or Guadalajara could be the best places. If they want history, culture, adventure, beaches and night clubes, the best option, definitly, is Yucatán. Going through Chiapas and maybe Tabasco were gorgeus places were found. If they want to eat meat, I mean, big pieces of meal, they should visit Monterrey, there they are going to visit a cosmopolitan city. A good piece of advice wherever they go is to remain always in group, pay with credit card in order not to handle money with them, always, and I mean, always, visit knowing places, where people can be seen.
I will tell them that is better to come to Mexico with a parner and always be in company of friends just because you don´t really know what is going to happen in this wonderful but also dangerous country. Mexico is always a nice expirience on tourist theme but by a lot of reason you must be careful on where places are you going to visit and in what time of the day.

It is well known that Mexico city and all around Mexico city is very dangerous, and it is true, so that I will recommend carry to extremes care about where they go and with whom they go to the touristic places, as I said before not handle with money but with credit card, never walk in a solitude place, never accept help from an unknown person, always be with a partner, and my best advice is to enjoy as much as they can our beatiful México.
Don´t worry about to the dangerous new, of course we have some problems as all countries all around the world, I know you had heard some trouble news about oaxaca and how dangerous this place is, also it´s one of the most beautiful states in our country, with numerous great and diversity place and history, of course in Mexico knows how important is the tourism from our country and we want you to feel as you are house like we say; my house is you house, because all people always is welcome, in spite of problems you can find peace, don´t forget slight clothes, your camera and be ready to have fun.
I would say to feel comfortable so you can go out and enjoy yourself! Better to have fun than be too preoccupied about safety! Besides, when you look nervous, you're easy prey, no? I would say to bring enough cash so you can visit the places that don't take credit cards! About safety, well, pretend you know where you're going... even if you probably have no idea!
