A good neighbor is someone who don't gossip about you and your parents, who help you with little details like give you messages from people but you have to do the same and vice versa. A people who could give you a good advice whe it seems you needed but don´t take care when you are well because he looks you are ok. A good neighbor applies the popular phrase that said " the respect to the others rights is the peace".
Well maybe we know who is a good neighbor and who is not, but maybe the real question is.. Are we good neighbors? because, we know that if they respect our privacy and houses, of course we considere them good persons. However, we think sometimes that they are spying us, while we are doing the same thing; if not, how do we know that they are staring at us? If we want good neighbors, let's star by doing a good neighbor too.
To be a good neighbor is better than to look for one. If you are one of this, you maybe take care of your neighbor in any sense, for example, you can take a look when you see strangers, or certain unusual events when they aren´t at home,and call the police. Lend for some tools or help them, when they need it, but always you have to think "don´t annoy them". If you are a good neighbor, you´ll have a good one.
Hi-didily-ho, neighboreenos! I suppose to be a good neighbor you should know when to involve yourself and when to keep out! It's not that nice if you have a neighbor who visits you every day to make sure you are alright, but it's also not nice if you have a neighbor who never says hello or doesn't come when you really need help!
everybody could say a good neighbor is who always say hi in mornings, smily person or who can do cookies for you but i had a bad experience years ago with someone who i supposed was a very nice . At the begining we used to say hi each other and bla bla but then she started to abuse, leaving her car out of the garage or asking me for baby sitting her daughter and putting her garbage spreaded in my trash container so after that i prefer just say hello and do not accept any cookie or a piece of cake. =S
The main characteristic of a good neighbor is related to respect, people always should respect to each other. When this basic and important rule is followed, I think other things such as communication, comprehension and good relationship will arrive soon.
I think, it's relative to the place and culture where you live. Well, for me, a good neighbor is someone who respects you and your space (family, house, car), and also, someone who helps you when you really need it.
In my opinion, is better to be a good neighbor than to have one. If I do not have any problems with anybody, I do not make noises, (like barking dogs, radios,garden shear on sunday´s morning, parties on fridey´s nights, etc.)and let them know that they could count on me, let their privacy, among other things it is not neccessary to visit them or even invite them. If I offer this I expect the same.
A very good neighbor is a person in which you can confidence and this person have confidence in you in orden to can enjoy together the close. If you know always can ask this person for help and you can help this person without some reservations is better, something can get some different, but the most important is that you can stand in your house in peace your neighbor do the same.
